Over the years of illustrating for scissorcraft, I have collected a pretty wide range of filler images that create weird and wonderful patterns. If you've already perused my pages you have already seen and recognized many of these repeating patterns.
One of these days when the right mood hits I will upload some of these repeaters for others to play with, but for now you can find quite an assortment of perfectly good filler images at Paper Gift Wrap site (See More Scissor Crafts on the side menu). The background images that repeat to create print it yourself wrapping printable images can be used in your own art program for personal or nonprofit purposes.
Mittens are hand coverings which fit over the hands and wrists to provide warmth and protection. Mittens are just the best invention ever for keeping hands warm in cold weather temperatures. Mittens generally have two sections, with a large section to fit four fingers and another smaller section for the thumb.
Scratch mittens (or mitts) only have 1 section for the entire hand. Scratch mitts are usually used with babies to prevent them from scratching themselves. Idiot mittens are connected together with a length of yarn or cord that is threaded through coat sleeves to prevent children (usually) from losing their mittens.
