These 15 color book images are versions closely resembling designs taken from a beautiful and historic Bride's Quilt which was composed of 64 appliquéd snowflake blocks.
The age of the quilt is unknown and the artist or artists are also unknown. The 1973 McCall's Quilting publication article stated that the blocks were probably all stitched by friends of the bride as no two patterns are exactly alike.
These 15 quilting patterns are similar to some of the designs on that historical quilt you can use to start your new bride's quilt. Experiment and make up new designs as you go:
