Make a bride's quilt for your lovebirds and start a whole new tradition. Over 100 years ago friends and relatives of a new bride created this historic quilt to give to the newlywedded couple. These images represent featured images from a beautiful and historic Bride's Quilt which was composed of 64 appliquéd snowflake blocks.
The age of the quilt is unknown and the artist or artists are also unknown. The 1973 McCall's Quilting publication article stated that the blocks were probably all stitched by friends of the bride as no two patterns are exactly alike.
